A Dreamland

by Peter Williams   Apr 19, 2005

I was dreaming a dream,
And now that dream is taken from me.
Everyone dreams,
Everyone sleeps.
Since my dream was taken,
I no longer sleep.
I welcome any change with open arms,
However......
No change comes my way.
Life is the same, but in my dreams......
They are truly different.
Like a movie,
And I'm the star.
Dreams are created by our own imaginations.
It's our own little world.
A little world of laughter,
A little world of love,
A little world of happiness,
A little world full of dreams.
Dreams......
Do they ever come true?
If they're made by our minds,
Then do our minds make them true?
I'm living in a dreamland,
With you in my arms,
And love in our hearts.
I'm living in a dreamland,
I hope I never wake up.
