Its harder to say goodbye
for a lifetime than to
say goodbye for 10 years
the shoulder you use
to cry on for so many
years is now the one
that your shedding
tears over how
do you say goodbye
to a lifetime of memories,
laughs,
tears,
and joy
how do you burry the one
that would have taken
a bullet for you?
they ask me everyday
how can you say goodbye
for a lifetime? i just reply
with a slight smile and
just say ' i don't, no one
ever says good-bye forever
the memories,happiness,
and smiles that they brought
you are still forever in your
heart i never did say goodbye
he's still here w/ me not in body
but in spirit'
