Decaying love

She says she loves him
but she doesn't really know
her feeling for him decay
but then again grow

she doesn't understand
and is so very confused
and still doesn't know what to do
should she keep this abuse

she wants to tell him how she feels
but this she cannot do
she doesn't feel the same
she likes someone new

so she bottles it up
keeps it inside
but it will come out
no longer will it hide

she hopes he doesn't hate her
that he is still her friend
but this relationship
needs to end

she wonders
how can this be
without him
being so mean

her love is decaying
and will never grow
she will never do this again
he finally knows
