Unspoken love

She was confused
thought he used her like a toy
and no one knew
how much she loved that boy

he was her desire
all she ever needed
to have him be hers
she begged and pleaded

"he doesn't feel the same,
nor will he ever"
she held him close
would love him forever

she took a knife
which no one caught
life's more precious then anything
this she wasn't taught

she did it again
with each memory
she loved him a lot
and with her life did plea

her parents came home
found a note on the door
and as soon as they read it
fell to the floor

predict this pain
no one would
and stop it
only he could

she loved him
with all her heart
and he left it
to fall apart

she took her life
all for love
she now looks down
with the angels above

he didn't even know
could not tell
but he loved her too
in love fell

so tell your loved ones
that you love them
tell them over and over
again and again

don't let them forget
that you'll stay true
you'll never leave them
and you love them too

he was quiet and too late
he could have kept her here
now he can't say
that he loved her dear

he is sorry
regrets it each day
not what he did
but what he did not say
