It's one year since

It's one year since
I moved away
From everything I knew
Friends and family
Left behind
I didn’t know what to do

Its one year since
I lied to mum
The worst regret I own
It caused me pain
And caused me hurt
If only she’d of known

Its one year since
My auntie died
The age of eight three
She made her choice
And spread her wings
Watching over me

Its one year since
I started cutting
More and more each day
Crimson blood
And bumpy wrists
Still tell this tale today

Its one year since
I meet my Chris
I was as happy as could be
We shared a kiss
And fell in love
But things weren't meant to be

Its one year since
My life did change
Change so very much
I couldn't have coped
Without my friends
Friends I love so much

Its one year since
My pains still raw
And memories they won’t die
I live in hope
That one day soon
My wings will learn to fly.

    A lot can happen in a year. Time will go by so fast try and stay strong! Try not to regret use it as a learning experience. That has always helped me! Very powerful and well expressed! Take Care! Brooke~
