The fish with a wish.

by Leanne   Apr 19, 2005

“You have yet one wish”
said the man to the fish
“I wish I was human I do”
So in a flash, a splish sposh and splash splash
The new human went along on his way.

One short week later
The new humaned fish
Came back to the man
With yet another wish
“so what can I do for ya then?”
“I wish to be a fish again!
I thought being human was fun
You could sit of just lay in the sun”
But its not that at all
Its like there’s a wall
Blocking happiness from the beings
Hunger, poverty, war and crime
I’ll never stay here of a life that is mine
Stop all the pain
The need and the fighting
Or turn me back into that fish that was thriving”

“I understand well friend, it’s a thing we call life
don’t let the pain of others cut you like a knife.
But fish you are and fish you’ll be…
Now think you’re self…officially free”
