He Shall Fall Far

by Ð맆îñ¥   Apr 19, 2005

The wasted bark is his only support
The silver reflecting the moon
His eyes are left to wander
He knows death will come too soon

Even though youth still fills his veins
His mind has lingered long
His worship of life ended years since
When darkness entered his song

He’s been watching over his life
From the joy at the beginning
But weariness took over
From the moments he spent sinning

Drawn into unknown rituals
Evil deeds followed suit
Sacrament from Hell
Where life was stolen loot

He snatched moments with family
They knew not of his game
They will cry when someone finds him
Despair his rise to fame

No one will remember the days he went wrong
And from now on he sings a different song
He’s waiting and pleading, forgiveness he seeks
Lost memories and thoughts he speaks

Who will send him to the next phase?
Will anyone believe the words he says?
Will he tumble like a falling star?
Sink though the shadows; he shall fall far
