Life Still Goes On

by gavpt   Apr 20, 2005

The tedium, the boredom, the lonesome sole,
With no purpose in life, not one single goal,
No aim nor ambition, no will to live,
Taken for granted, yet with nothing to give,
Used by all time again and again,
Suffers in silence, slowly going insane,
When will it stop? Will it ever cease?
Searching for an answer, MUST find a release,
Desperation takes hold, so by his peers he's frowned upon,
For they knew what he didn't -
That life still goes on

Wherever he goes, wherever he stumbles,
Someone's waiting to trip him, so again down he tumbles,
It almost seems hopeless, the enemy are rife,
Making it bumpy on this ride they call life,
Oh, what to do? Haunted by uncountable fears;
The hatred, the sadness, the pain of the years,
"If only I were braver, if only I'd listened at school..."
if only means nothing, you weak minded fool,
Summon the courage, then soon you'll grow strong,
For no matter what: Life still goes on.
