Once when i was a child

My Ballad poem:
Once when I was a child,
The heartbreaks hurt merely mild,
When my skinned knees hurt worse,
Why does love have to be such a curse?

My bleeding heart that’s inside,
The loving feelings trying to hide,
Trying to make it through another day,
For some one to finally mean what they say,

Crying seemed like the only resolution,
But lies and heartbreak were like pollution,
They are so easy habits to make,
That are in the end hard to break

So when the day comes by,
When people stop hurting and don\'t lie,
Maybe I wont have to have my heart broken,
Because I could finely forget the words that were spoken,

Heartbreak can seem like the end,
But you will always find that one special friend,
That will turn out one day to say,
That they love you and are here to stay.
