Caught Up

I listen to soft music,
Just to ease my mind,
Then I caught myself reminiscing,
On old shit i didn't want to find,

I keep to myself,
And try to cover up my pain,
My life goes on,
But I keep dwelling on the same,

My emotions are wide open,
And badly bruised,
I'm in a battle zone between my heart & my feelings,
It's a difficult decision on which one to choose,

I didn't get a chance to pick,
He just kicked me to the curb,
I blame myself,
i got caught up,
I shouldn't trust another's word.....
