Shadow Of Justice

Shadow Of Justice

I feel your pain but have no touch,
your spirit is so heavy it’s almost too much.
You speak with no words still I know your despair,
I try to hold back the tears as you share.
The images are so real when I close my eyes,
every beating your body takes fulfilling your demise.
Alone a shadow of what life you were meant to be,
no a lost soul that need its pain set free.
A cold breeze comforts me as I walk where you did,
and every movement you had is far from hid.
The stove where he burned you with no remorse,
and the smell of your burnt flesh leading me to another source.
The words that would shatter your will and make you cry,
only in the end would any ask why.
Why would he put you through this undying hell,
set in prison with no bars but fear being your cell.
All of this I never want to see in my life,
but the whole story unravels of you being a beaten wife.
I can say only go to the light for your time has come to a close,
and for this tale you told me I will surely expose.
He shall not get away with killing you in the end,
for justice will be yours I swear this my friend.
