The Subconcious, Concious Be

by Daniel Mulvany   Apr 21, 2005

My silent heart holds broken dreams,
Flow through my veins like shallow streams.
Unconscious here these moments pass,
Begun alas to end alas.
But in subconscious dreams appear,
A happiness I wish were here,
A face I've seen, a heart I know,
A feeling ever slow to grow.
But if I open-eyed would see,
And let subconscious, conscious be,
That chance, what chance I've feared to say,
Or open to in any way,
May become such that happiness,
May ever on my heart impress.
