Shadows of Light

You’ve found your light,
They’ve found their darkness,
What is it all to mean?
How is it meant to be,
If there is no way to be seen.

For the light destroys you,
The light brightens you.
What is one to do?
Should you recall,
Or just fall,
For the one who’s meant to be.

The darkness will not prevail,
There is no way to win,
The compromise must be set,
And you must agree to fin.

You shall be given the shadows,
The shadows of others,
No longer will there be a battle,
Light and dark shall live as one.
And you shall have the thing you love.
