Motor neurons disease

by katie!   Apr 21, 2005

Motor neurons disease, A name I know so well
In three words I watched my family plunge into living hell
As we heard the diagnosis, the feeling did not sink in
Another happy person broken, and a happy life ruined

Disintegrating all your movement, leaving your mind
As you cry every night now, happiness I can't find
As she is rushed into hospital once again
I cannot describe the way I see her pain

A broken woman, rejected by her friends
Her family so terrified of the inevitable end
Breaking the smiles once worn so true
From the time when we could all smile with you

I love you gran, I can't bear to see you dying
On the phone I listen to the sounds of you crying
I cannot live without you and I don't know what to do
I know you are nearly gone, Gran please, I need you
