Is the pain gone,
Or,
Still lingering in my mind?

Maybe it's covered up,
So,
My feelings are hard to find,

I'm very emotional,
Love is my weakness,
I depend on me,
So I have to be my strength,

My heart is more powerful than his ego,

His pride takes over his heart,
Now I no longer have to wonder,
Why, now we are apart,

He may have lost me for now,
Or maybe forever,
Whatever the outcome,
