My sister wants to die

You called me last night crying
and told me how you feel like dying
I didn't know what to say
I just wanted to take you pain away

You are my sister and I love you
but there is nothing I can do
How can you say that no one care
when your death would be to much to bare

It hurt so much to hear you say goodbye
I tried to be strong, I tried not to cry
I wanted to hold you through this sadness
to take you away from this mess

I tried to call the police
but they wouldn't help me at all
they said that if you wanted to find peace
they couldn't do anything to break your fall

I would take your hurting into my heart
if that would take away your pain
cause what you do breaks me apart
I can't watch you go insane

So please take my reaching hand
I want to help you through
tell me your sorrow, I'll understand
cause you are my sister and I love you
