Her Neverending Dream

by Shelby   Apr 21, 2005

She smiles as if everything is okay,
But deep down shes screaming for someone to just hold her,
Embrace her like he did,
And reassure her everything would be fine,
He's gone,
Just a neverending dream replaying over and over in her head,
Never will she wake from this,
She's too weak,
That's why he didn't want her,
This is why she weeps at night,
Bleeding internally inside,
No one hears her cries,
But they wouldn't really care,
They're too caught up in their own lives,
She's so misunderstood,
She wishes someone would take the time to understand her,
She wished someone would love her,
Love her like he did,
But no one will love her like he did,
Kiss her like he did,
Talk to her like he did,
Forever she will be alone,
Maybe all along she was alone,
But never knew it,
She hopes one day someone will take his place in her heart,
And free her of these scars,
So she can smile inside too,
Then she can live a life of love and happiness,
Like she once did...
