Feel My Pain

by Drake Takeyama   Apr 21, 2005

Now your sorrow swallows you,
the very same happens to me too.

You watch the blood run down the drain,
now you see there is nothing to gain.

No one knows just why we cut,
we can still feel our pain in our gut.

We know self harm cannot be good,
but when do we do just as we should?

For all the love I've ever felt,
a pain much worse I must have delt.

Now I feel my heart grow cold,
letting loose my piercing hold.

Swallowed by my blinding rage,
at last we reach the final page.

Soon to start my book anew,
relinquished from my love for you.

Blood shall soon replace the rain,
and now this world shall feel my pain.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have cut myself quite a few times, and attempted suicide twice. I slit my wrists 3 years ago because I had nothing left to live for, and again less than 1 year ago because I had lost my love and everything else I possesed. I'll probably do it again too, I just don't know when. Sorry for my depressing story, I would appreciate your comments, thank you.
  • Very deep poem, full of meaning. It can really effect the reader, expecially me. Please Ross, don't do anything stupid. I'm never gone completely, I'll always still be here. Whenever you need me. Remember, tough times dont last, but tough people do
