Saved my last breath

by NK   Apr 22, 2005

It seems everyone looks down on me
I’m a kid without respect you see
When I’m spotted they point and laugh
Some times I want to break in half

It seems you want to smack me down
Want to make my face meet the ground
Then kick me again when I’m in the dirt
Want to make me squeal, cause pain and hurt

You pushed me now my soul is low
My flame my life, now a dim glow
You’ve pushed me past the point of death
I thought by now I’d had my last breath

Who made me feel better, an old school friend
Who I haven’t talked to since junior high’s end
He started talking about his car
From this topic we traveled far

I felt better within a half hour
I no longer felt the need to cower
I thank you Chris you long term friend
Let us talk until death brings the end
