Love me as I love You

I loved you so much,
but what did you do?
You left me alone,
With so much to go through.

My heart felt heavy,
Unsafe and lost.
My love was thrown,
deep in the dark.

How could you leave me,
with a blackened heart?
While you go off,
like a flying dart.

How many hearts,
do you have to break.
Before you understand,
all that heavy weight?

I keep hoping and staying,
up all through the night.
Thinking that you might,
change your mind.

I get sick now,
most of the time.
it's not the flu,
you know it's you.

I'm still praying and hoping
that you'd come here,
and love me forever more
as i have and still love you.
