I want to thank You

I thought I do this,
Just for you,
Make you feel special,
For a day or two,

I want to write about,
What a good friend you are,
You’re always there when I need you,
No matter how far,

You’ve cared, you’ve loved,
You’ve given and you’ve been tough,
Nothing I do though,
Will thank you enough,

So Daniel I write this for you,
And to say you’re a great friend it’s true,
You’ll never be forgotten in this life,
And for this I want to thank you.
