COUNTDOWN TO GrAcE

**My friends,this is more of a celebration poem than a sad one. Exactly 6weeks, 2 days, i was attacked by robbers and i wrote a poem on it. This time around i barely escaped another attack with my life , leaving me with relics of wounds on my head. I am happy i am alive to retell it this way. Join me in reading and celebrating.***

6 weeks,2days,30Min's,and 11 secs
From brutality to the shot down
My life depended on the spindle
Each second ticked away

6 weeks,2days,30Min's,and 11 secs
Each day came and went
And I,oblivious of what will come
Walked daily like on a blindfold
Walking to a time of the end

6 weeks,2days,30Min's,and 11 secs
Countdown to life, and to Grace
What a life, filled with uncertainty?
I can spare my life of "if I knew"
By heeding to that silent voice inside

6 weeks,2days,30Min's,and 11 secs
Drunk by strength and vigor
Never to know, the time is up
And i walked into the Lions snare
Who would have told the story?

6 weeks,2days,30Min's,and 11 secs
It is amazing to me how i survived
With a wound but without injury
And i see i a world that would have been history
And yet,I am alive to say I Live in GRACE!!
