Moving On

I hate to leave
I'm moving on
my nights of loving you
are almost gone

My feelings are strong
but those I'll hide
because you have a new man
thats by your side

we had are time
of laughs and giggles
but most of that happened
when we were little

well excuse me if you take offense to this poem
but I've been keeping these feelings for way to long
so I'll end this poem
with a sweet goodbye
and hope that you'll promise
to never ever cry.
