A Last Farewell

by Decaying Cheerleader   Apr 23, 2005

A tender kiss on a lifeless cheek
Your face, so cold and pale
A spark of life in your eyes I seek
So love could still prevail

Never again will I feel your breath
Your lips are turning blue
So beautiful still, after your death
There's nothing I can do

You were my life, my everything
In darkness you were my light
On your finger sparkles our ring
Reminding me of the tears we cried

I lower you down into your grave
Your face, struck by a tear
You always told me to be brave
We shall meet in heaven my dear
