I Was Hesitant At First!

I was hesitant at first
but now I think it's right
after all
I'm not putting up a fight!

See, my Dad died awhile ago
I missed him tons at first
now I still do
But I feel my life is cursed.

There's this guy named Dale
He's me mom's fiancee
I was not quite sure at first
but now I say OK!

He proposed awhile ago
I was kinda sad at first
I knew she would say yes
I felt I was going to burst!

But now I'm pretty happy
I'll finally have a Dad again!
It's really been awhile It just won't be the same
But now maybe it'll relieve some of my pain.

I'm moving in a while
it'll be so fun
But yet sad at the same time
maybe I'll finally see the sun.

I guess my life is cursed
but not as bad as thought
my life may soon be mended
but that's a given ought!

So as I already said:
I was hesitant at first
but now I think it's right
after all
I'm not putting up a fight!!
