Stitches cut

by kayla   Apr 23, 2005

My heart is open; it’s never shut.
Stitches that once held have now been cut.
Alone I sit here, I weep I cry.
Alone I sit here, and beg to die.
The words you read were never true.
I wrote them once but never knew.
I want you here in my arms.
I never want to let you go.
I push you into harms way.
I never mean too, but one day I’ll pay.
Please come back
Smile once more
I need you presence
And embrace I adore
I sit here and wonder
I wonder why
The pain I feel will punish me
It’ll release my sins and set me free.
