would God turn his sun bathed back?
If i choose to like girls,
would his love ever lack?

Would he sign my tickets
and send me straight to hell?
would he disregard
all the wisdom i tell?

would he forget all the good
that i have chosen to do?
would he scowl at me
and turn back to you?

would i find comfort
in his purest tears?
Or know he crying for me
and all our wasted years?
