Dreams

by olmy garcia   Apr 24, 2005

As soon as I get up
And out of my bed
I hear whites in the distant
And one black guy falling like he's on thin air
I can feel the pain of my people suffering
Wondering when they can get up and fight
And finally live up to their dream of ending Apartheid
Believe in their dreams
And keep their hopes alive
And then they will be
Soaring into the sky
And once their up they will believe
In hopes and happiness
Thanks to Nelson Mandela dream

This is a Homework I did, please read it. I'm not black or white I'm latin. We were talking about Nelson Mandela. I'm not racist. ok.

I believe that when we cease to dream, we desist to exist. It's a good poem. I give it a 5.
