Disguise

As I sit here in my room,
I think about the one person I truly love and adore.
The guy who never stopped asking for more.
The guy who used to set me free,

The guy who used to let me be,
The guy who never judged my choices,
The guy I thought would never force it.
The sweetest guy with such soft heart
The honest one tore my heart apart.
The one I thought would stay true.
Lied to me in all ways- times two.
Never once had he turn his back.
Then one day he went all mad.
Being strong he did not turn around
I watched him leave and made a frown.
Tears shed down my pitiful eyes.
All this time he had put up a disguise.
I just kept falling in his game of love.
And now I wish he would be above.
I froze in the moment of aching shock.
If only I could have made time stop….
But there he walked fake as can be.
If only I had the strength to breathe.
My knees had slowly gotten weak,
And as I fell and hit the ground,
The rain fell as well embracing me...
