Two tom cats

by Gurl_with_red_Tears   Apr 24, 2005

Not last night but the night before,
two tom cats came knocking at my door.
I ran downstairs to let them in,
they knocked me down with a rolling pin .
The rolling pin was made of glass,
They knocked me down and cut my ass.

My gran sang this version to me in the early 70's
Not last night but the night before
Two Tom cat's came knocking at my door
I went downstairs to let them in
They knocked me down with a rolling pin
The rolling pin was made of glass
They picked me up and smacked my ass.

So I went upstairs to go to bed
But I fell over the piss pot
    Arse over head
I went downstairs to dry my frock
But I fell in the fire and burnt my cock.

I went outside to get some coal
    and a bloody great rat
    ran up my hole.
As versed by my grandmother in the fifties.

I like this as it was when I was a little bit and I still like it now.
