No More Running

by Jo   Apr 24, 2005

Getting it off my chest.
I'm saying it now.
You can't keep playing this cord along.
For so many times we tried.

It just won't work.
Your busy with her.
Then done your back with me.
It's like you had this whole life.

I never knew about it.
Please just for ourselves.
Let's put an end to what we thought
was love.

I'll never let our memories fade.
You know you mean more to me than that.
But you shared your secret with me.
And now its something I can't control.

Crazy as it sounds.
Your better off with her.
You told me she was losing.
Like a race I won, that I cheated.

No more games though.
I was the other one you see.
Happiness isn't that.
Its more than trust.

Its you and me
on a golden sea.
No mistakes, no bad regrets.
You made all the wrong choices.

So I threw your glasses at the wall.
And my friends new why.
You called me that night,
and was with her again.

But like a castle burning.
The princess ran out long before.
Never stopping to think of him.
Finding a new garden to grow in*
