You'll have this dance

A smile graces your face when you figure out who is there,
Your eyes shine with happiness as you stare at him.
He slides his arms around you and beckons for you to do the same,
Then a slow song begins to play and you notice the lights start to dim.

Staring into each other's eyes; lost in his gaze,
The beating of your heart quickens before slowing to a steady pace.
You want to hold onto him forever; keep him in your grasp,
Your thoughts unknowingly wander and your mind begins to race.

So caught up in your thoughts you dont notice that the song is almost over,
Suddenly you see his face nearing yours; now your out of your trance.
You feel his lips gently touch yours, pulling you into a caste kiss,
And then it ends, as does the song,but remembering the warth of his lips you
know that at least you'll have this dance.
