Give it Away

by Jessica   Apr 24, 2005

Watching life slip away,
watching the one she loved go day by day,
watching him just walk out on her,
making her emotions stir.

She loved him,
as more than a friend,
She wanted to be his one and only,
She doesn't want to be lonely.

She feels that it's her fault he left,
and charged again with theft,
of the heart she used to keep so close,
but him, the one she loved the most.

Again life is worse than before,
and she hides within the core,
of her purpose driven life,
wishing she only had a knife.

She wants to cry when she feels it within,
She needs him as more than a friend,
but she knows that it's to late to say,
the baby was yours, but she gave it away.
