It's a week till my birthday
and it seems like the only people who remember are my friends
Its my sweet 16
I should be happy right
Then how come I'm not
My parents are acting like my birthday's not close
I don't know if they are just acting
But I don't like it
I know my boyfriend and my friends remember
because they keep on hounding me about what i want
And I don't want them to get me anything
And my parents don't say a word about it
and they are normally the ones excited about all this crap
I guess I'm just gonna suck it up
And pretend that I don't care
