The glass, is it half full, or half empty?

Is the glass half empty, or is the glass half full?
It’s a question we all ask ourselves once in our life
When we are feeling down and low or when we are happy
Dealing with mixed up feelings, most probably strife

Everyone thinks different things, everyone has a different opinion
To me the glass is neither, the glass is simply to big
My perspective on life, is that we live our lives for our self
Live the live that we all personally want to live

The glass does not come into it, the glass is unnecessary
The glass just causes more arguments; the glass can break up friends
From past experience, the glass can be empty, and it can over flow
But if you think about it carefully, the glass does not matter in the end!
