Lost in Confusion

I didn't mean to hurt you,
I never meant to break your heart.
I don't know why I let it begin,
I should have stopped it at the start.

I didn't want to tell you,
I knew you would be crushed.
When you said "I love you",
All I could do was blush.

I didn't know if saying it back,
would be quite right.
I don't know how to feel,
But I don't want us to fight.

I want us to stay together,
but I don't know if it's true.
Sometimes I wonder if I am
Still in love with you.

But than I know I'm stupid,
Because I know I need you.
And when I saw that look in your eyes,
I knew you needed me too.

I never wanted to let you go,
But I knew I'd must.
We walked away, left each other,
Its in the past, the dust.

But now that we're apart,
I don't know what to do.
Am I really still in love
With you?

But why do I question,
I know I am.
Please let me know,
Tell me I am.

Sometimes I wonder too much,
And bring myself to tears.
Leaving you, not seeing you,
Its one of my fears.

My heart is confused,
I don't know what to feel.
Let me know,
Our love is still real.

*I was lost and confused. I didn't know what to feel. But I think this poem helped me sort it all out. I didn't think about writing it. it all just came to me in class, and I started writing. This goes out to a certain someone, I'm sorry I freaked you out. Please tell me what you think*
