Suicides Unwatched

by *Brandi*   Apr 25, 2005

Walking through the valley
Of depression and pain
The images around me
Could make you go insane

All heads are hanging low
All eyes are red and dry
The people here suffer
A sorrow too deep to cry

Feet are dragged and shuffled
To get from place to place
The depression has gone too far
For happiness to replace

The only sound I hear
Is the sound of children's cries
And the silent crying whispers
For the suffering to subside

The people here are lonely
Deprived of any love
They wonder whatever happened
To the Almighty One above

It's said He watches everything
We ever say or ever do
So why didn't he watch that night
Crying alone in their rooms

When they all took the razor
And placed it on their vein
With that one final cut
They put an end to all the pain
