Cant escape

She smiles but no one sees
the scared girl hiding her tears

Shes hurting so much deep inside
She has nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.

She Carry's on with her repetitive days,
It always the same, So stuck in her ways.

She think no one would know if she died to night.
It hurts her so much more tears she trys to fight.

She looks in the mirror sees a stranger smiling,
It doesn't reflect the girl stuck inside, the girl inside is crying.

She needs to escape this life, and her hopeless fears,
She wants to smile for real, get rid of all her tears.

One day she will be strong enough to fight,
But that time isn't now, she'll be cutting again tonight.

Just so she can feel,
Something to let her know shes real.

I look at this girl and know she isn't free.
How much I wished that this girl wasn't me.
