You tell me you love me and kiss my cheek
Than i wake up; it was just a dream
Those moments have faded; lost in time
Just memories i have to get you through the night

I miss the way things were before
when you were mine and i was yours
No longer there right by my side
Knowing that we could have tried

I still have faith in you and me
but you still seem to disagree
I don't understand why things got this way
all i can do is sit back and pray
