Cry

Once I turn the lights out
When I try to close my eyes
All the thoughts come rushing through
And I cannot help but cry
I can feel the scars upon my wrist
These scars I know won't fade
I remember looking in the mirror
And seeing all that I hate
I can barely keep my eyes open
I'm crying oh so hard
I try to get better every day
But I'm not getting very far
I pull my knees up to my chest
And start rocking back and forth
I feel this enormous pain
And I cannot find the source
I know everyone wonders
I know my friends, they care
But still I cry alone at night
And no ones really there
So I'll lock it all away
I'll store the pain inside
I'll tell you that I'm happy
And you'll believe my lies
