The Pain I've Been Through

Sometimes I regret,
But I'll try more to forget.
All the pain you put me through,
So I seriously need to get over you.

I've cried so many tears,
As it would appear.
Now that we are apart,
I have this pain in my heart.

I sit in my window,
And stare at my shadow.
I think about you,
And ask myself why were you cold and blue?

There were months of smiles,
But only for awhile.
I will always treasure,
All of your pleasure.
