Tear

by Jacklyn   Apr 26, 2005

Gather collide,
Try to hold back tight,
Clouding vision and mind,

Discovering the want to hide,
But yet be hugged tight,
As your checks bloom bright,

Deep breath and sigh,
Quivering lip and chin,
Sadness or anger fill within,

An overflow of cruel life,
Or over whelmed with happy delight,
An overflow within you eye,
As one tear takes a slide.

It reminded me of a Goo Goo Dolls song, 'slide'. Because of the last line. Well done again.
