It's Not A Crime

Every body has a shadow to hide,
every secret needs to be confided.
Every person has lock away tight,
a demon from time to time they must fight.
Always searching but going nowhere,
is our faith often acts on emotion but never seems fair.
We are often child of a wild set,
bent solely on violence, which we regret.
Our skin is different and so are our views,
and we strive to win when others lose.
Can we come together under one common goal,
to make everyone fulfill joy in each and every soul.
What is it that makes us fight to the bitter end with hate,
sealing any chance of a happier fate.
We all cry and bleed love and hat from what we are,
he have some gifts but as a group we are so far.
Let me stare into your eyes and see you with my heart,
share this time with me and then we can make a new start.
I will give to you all you want from me,
only if you let me be the person I wish to be.
Maybe then we can truly walk hand in hand,
and together with out fear we can take a stand.
Until then I guess its an unreal dream,
but tell me is it a hopeful scheme?
I ask this of you for we all must start at one time,
hold my hand and follow me and show to the world its not a crime.
