Holy Mary

by Michael D Nalley   Apr 26, 2005

Holy Mary the clear mother of God
How the protesters think it is so odd
For me or anyone to pray through you
Though you are a window it is true

Through your window the light of love passes through
And it is not blocked from those who want to view
The light of the Holy Trinity which passes through you
The light that the Father sent to all the faithful and true

As the mystic monk said, you are a window free from original dust
The new Eve free from all sin, a Holy mother that we all can trust
The Immaculate Conception, seen by many, understood by few
You were transubstantiated to heaven like the morning dew

It was so beautiful. And it's true that few understand why some pray to Mary. I liked it a lot, very deep, keep it up! *hugs*

Great write! I am not Catholic, and have never really understood why some things happen (like praying to Mary)--but I do not doubt that is a branch of Christianity as some do. Wonderful job!

I agree with Heather beautifully written...Although for me it touches on the boundaries of the unknown it still was a very visonary read.
    Diction and flow flawless.
