I am a small and precious child
My dad's been sent to fight
The only place I'll see his face
is in my dreams at night
He will be gone too many days
For my young mind to keep track
I may be sad but i am proud
My daddy's got your back

    great poem. i know three people-two in iraq, one in afganastan. i am worried about them-considering their jobs over there...i know how stressful it is when you read the new names of the fallen, but knowing that they are fighting to protect us is amazing.

    I really liked your ending.... Maybe a little longer, and an A+...It's just a suggestion though.
