if this poem is about chad than your idea of once in a lifetime love needs to be adjusted. you forgot to add,
a once in a lifetime love will protect you from harm,
it wont cause you tears and pain,
anger will not be its charm,
love will not be his chain

once in a lifetime love is forever,
and will not cause you to run for cover,
he shud not be insanely clever,
in ways to make you hide and hover

if its about matt, then i dont beleive you are running, do you? if you do then what are you running from my dear, he is kind, he is caring, he is what you need. if you are running, then stop. confront what you are running from...no, not him, but your feelings of fear and anger and hurt.stop running from them and face them. its the only way, or you'll be running for the rest of your life.
