Far Behind

by Erika   Sep 11, 2003

Deep within I am shaking by the violence
Of which melted into me by my disturbance
Clinging to the inference that binds me to live
Trying to escape my desire to completely give
Exterior presence of the dreams that kept awake
Internal thoughts of remedies for my sake
Even angels loose their wings but why must they
Guardians of a world who needs protection in every way
Reveal my all sides, and then capture the corners
Of which I seem to hide to mix into the background
And fade into the reflective sunset bound
Whisper softly, I pray in my eyes, open wide
Of what I feel sinking in the waters tide
And yet it all falls around me with the smell
From which yearns to see the earth set sail
I feel the moon washing over me rising to the beach
And the lights disappear within reach
Among the evergreen trees is where you will find
The next world of pain, the next world left behind
