Every day I look at you
and wonder why I try
try to make some sense
of that same look in your eye

its there when i wake up
its there when I lay down
it's there when I smile
and changes when I frown.

Every time I feel sad
sad, lost and alone
I only have to look in your eye
and all will be known

i love you more than you will ever know
and although you say it too
its that look in your eye that says it more
its that look that gets me through.
