The Girl Inside Of Me

by BrightEyes71   Apr 27, 2005

Excess fat,
Messy Hair,
Ugly legs,
You’ll find me there.

My cockeyed smile,
And figity feet,
My odd shaped arms,
And chewed up long sleeves.

My hopless voice,
And never ending tears,
My bewildered mind,
And endless fears.

My broken emotions,
And trampled heart,
Feeling so lonely,
And falling apart.

Pleading for seeking,
And finding a way,
Anxious to tell them (my parents),
But afraid to say.

The way I talk.
My saddened pale face,
Wishing they could hear,
The wishful thinking I seem to chase.

*this poem was one I wrote while in my deepest part of my depression since sixth grade it was about 2 months ago.I've not had the strength to put it up here yet. So this was hard for me to wrte. Please Please comment and rate. Thanks so much
