It Really Doesn't Matter That;
We are growing old, but still feel young,
Our hair is turning silver and gray everyday,
That our bodies aren't working like they should,
Can't use positions like when we were young,
We move more slowly, but still can think fast,
Eyes not as sharp, but we still see each other,
Eat and drink too much sometimes, but it's fun,
An exciting day for us is spent on the couch,
Like the simple pleasures in life spent together,
At the movies holding hands, kissing in the park,
A day not seeing each other is like an eternity,
Kissing and holding each other we must have,
Affection for each other overflowing never in doubt,
Made for one another I'd say, no reason to ask why,
It Really Doesn't Matter That;
Time is not standing still, we can't stop or slow it down,
So being together is surly the best way to spend our time,
A life time was spent without you, we both have one left,
Let's spend this one together all that we share you and I.
